This policy explains how Dream Reel, operated by Scott Stephens, processes information when you use the iPhone app.

Information processed

Dream Reel processes the dream text you submit, your selected mood and roast level, generated readings, storyboards, voice and movie creations, reports you choose to submit, an anonymous account identifier, usage counts, and signed Apple purchase records. We do not ask for your name, email address, or payment card details inside the app.

Why it is used

We use this information to provide the features you request, maintain your private library and purchased credits, prevent purchase replay and abuse, diagnose service failures, and respond to reports.

Service providers

Dream content is sent to OpenAI to generate readings and speech. Movie scene descriptions are sent to Runway when you request a movie. Apple processes purchases and sends Dream Reel signed purchase records. Hosting providers process the data needed to operate the service. These providers process information under their own terms and retention practices.

Storage and deletion

Finished voice and movie files are downloaded to protected storage inside the app on your iPhone. They are not included in device backups, so save movies you want to keep to Photos or Files before deleting the app or changing devices. The service keeps account, dream, purchase, and job records needed to operate your library, plus temporary delivery copies of generated files. In Settings, choose Delete my dream data & account to remove your service library, app copies, account token, and unused credits. Limited transaction identifiers and hashed entitlement records may be retained to prevent fraud, purchase replay, and allowance resets, and where required by law. Provider backups and security logs may persist for limited periods.

Security and sharing

Your app access token is stored in the iPhone Keychain. Dream Reel does not sell your personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or publish dreams to other users. Information may be disclosed when required by law or to protect the service and its users.

Your choices

Submit only information you are comfortable having processed. You can decline consent before sending a dream, delete your account in Settings, save finished media to your device, and contact us with a privacy question.
